The last weekend of the summer holidays is already here.

Every summer seems to go faster - what ever happened to the lazy days of summer - I have no idea.

My husband is home for the week coming just as the kids are going to school (he says he did not plan it that way), so I am going to be managing to squeak another week out of the holiday atmosphere.

This summer has been a bit of a quandry - trying to spend it being ready for things coming up this fall - yet taking time to kick back and enjoy the weather (not much of it this summer!) and the kids - who are growing so fast.

So, this weekend, I am going to kick back a bit, enjoy being a family and a mom.

Savour the moments that go by too fast and celebrate everything, just as it is. (one of my favourite sayings is - 'it is, what it is'.
