It's funny, I thought that as my kids - and nieces and nephews - and myself - got older, that things would somehow become simpler - easier.

WRONG!

It seems like now all of the 'big' issues have just become multiplied by ummm…. 8 - the sum total of my own and my sister's kids.

With it comes my own issues with getting older - as I write I'm 44 sometimes feeling like 12 - at other times 120. 

In this section I'd like to deal with my thoughts and insights on some of the bigger issues, some of the laughs and some of the sorrows of life - my life in particular - and maybe yours.

One thing I have been continually amazed with on the world wide web is how no matter how alone we feel on an issue, there is probably someone else inside of our circle of contacts who is going through the same thing. 

One of my aims has always been to write with complete candor and honesty, because this is the way we help ourselves and each other.

And to look at some of the issues that are glossed over and candy coated… buried… and with it any chance at resolution or release.

Like it or not, they are the stuff of life and sometimes just talking about it makes it better.

We certainly can learn and maybe solve a few problems by examining a new and different view, or re-examining an old one.

With it comes the realization that we aren't so different after all. And many times it's not as bad as we might think.

And sometimes… it's darn good!
