Just a quick tip if you come home starving from grocery shopping.
What to do??
First rule, of course is – don't go grocery shopping if you're hungry.
But IF it happens, or you happen to find yourself famished by the time you get home, there is something you can do.
Especially if you are ready.
How do you get ready?
Buy lots of good stuff that you can pig out on with abandon while the kids put the groceries away.
That's what I did!
WATERMELON, BANANA AND A CUP OF TEA TO WASH IT DOWN
Today I knew that I should have brought something with me by the time I got to the store because I was already hungry. I was just starting the Green Smoothie Challenge so I was pumped to get a ton of yummy fruit and veggies to make some fantastic smoothies with.
I was too hungry to take the time to make the smoothies when I got home!
So what's a girl to do?
Slice up the watermelon, and a banana of course.
QUICK TIP: Banana always tastes better sliced up with another fruit. It's better than sugar!
The sky is the limit!
Eat 'til your full up!
I had a few slices and 1 1/2 bananas.
Just a thought if you find yourself home from the grocery store and too hungry to wait for dinner.
You don't have to dive into the junk. That's something that I would have done not so long ago.
Hey, a girl can change!
Just be sure that you buy some fruit and/or veggies that you like and pig out!
You can't go wrong.
It's all good.
