When I was about 5 years old, my job was to wash the stairs, probably once per week, I don’t recall. :0)
I used to love the job, it was at my grandparents house and they had beautifully finished wooden stairs with a plastic runner going down.
Even today, I think one thing that bothers me more than anything are dirty stairs.
If you’ve got stairs, how about taking 5 minutes to give them a sweep, and get out your spray bottle or pail and give them a quick wipe too.
Even if you just have time to do the dirty spots.
If you have a little more than 5 minutes, go ahead and give them a better going over.
Just remember, you are going for 5 minutes better than it was :0)
Set your timer, then enjoy your sparkling stairs.
If you don’t have stairs, how about a hallway or something similar that gets overlooked sometimes.
HOW ABOUT SAFETY?
Now would be a good time to reassess your stairs.
Do you need a non stick runner or even some grip paint?
Do you need a banister?
Do you need to clear the junk from the top so no one trips on it?
A few minutes now can save a lot of grief later.
