This little ditti has been circulating the internet for awhile. It always rings true.

4 YEARS OF AGE – My Mommy can do anything!
8 YEARS OF AGE – My Mom knows a lot! A whole lot!
12 YEARS OF AGE – My Mother doesn’t really know quite everything.
14 YEARS OF AGE – Naturally, Mother doesn’t know that, either!
16 YEARS OF AGE – Mother? She’s hopelessly old-fashioned.
18 YEARS OF AGE – That old woman? She’s way out of date!
25 YEARS OF AGE – Well, she might know a little bit about it.
35 YEARS OF AGE – Before we decide, let’s get Mom’s opinion.
45 YEARS OF AGE – Wonder what Mom would have thought about it?
65 YEARS OF AGE – Wish I could talk it over with Mom.

LESSONS LEARNED FROM MOM

Today would be a good time to think about what you learned – or could learn – from your mom. Do your best to live the lesson this week.

If she’s still here, be sure to call her up and tell her.

And keep in mind what you are teaching your kids through your own every day example and effort as mom and teacher.

SIMPLE IS GOOD

Don’t forget, mom’s love the simple things! The smallest gesture is appreciated by mom, don’t forget to do something nice. My daughter just woke up and is making me oatmeal for breakfast. Sounds good to me!

For my Mother’s Day gift she is giving me a bag made out of used Kool Aid Coolers packages. Sounds weird but I think it’s fantastic. Her school saved them to make the bags – it’s right up my alley. I can’t wait to see it. Apparently they sell in the stores these days. I love that Re-use is becoming more the fashion.
