Kid In a Candy Store

Talking Out Loud

Some of you have had your kids back to school for awhile now. As it happened, my husband was home for a week after mine went back so today is my first day home alone!

WOOHOO! Just can't help myself :0)

For all of the planning and organizing that went into trying to balance the summer with the kids/working at home, with all of the vows to 'get it right', I still struggled and found some days to be stressful.

Pulled between time spent with the kids and falling behind on things that I wanted to do.

Even when those times with the kids where fun - most of the time - I still found it hard to keep up.

There are still only so many hours in the day.

So, I am ready to roll, a few days of catch up and then getting into my newly revamped September schedule for my new full time job working at home (no matter the effort, summer always means part time for me, priorities rule).

But I am glad to be back!

How about you?

How do you ramp up for Sept when the herd migrates back to school?

Ramp It Up.

THEME FOR THIS WEEK
  • DO KAIZEN: Start the day with one task that will make gradual positive change - take you up a notch - make something more efficient, eliminate something, put something to work for you. Do this every day first thing. Put aside the time and say KAIZEN!

  • "I will prepare, and someday my chance will come." - Abraham Lincoln, 16th President of the United States
