Stations Everyone!
Anyway, the point is, the other morning I realized that it's been really going smoothly because I have been setting up work stations throughout my home without even realizing it.

Packing nutritious lunches daily have been a challenge for us over the years. My daughter has become a true junky snack food junkie. She likes stuff out of boxes better than anything else. So I was taken totally by surprise last week as day by day she was taking less junk in her lunch and finally didn't want any at all.

I stumbled upon this trick when my daughter was in Brownies so I had to be in town every Tuesday evening. I live to far out to bother driving home and back so I would go and do the grocery shopping while she was there. Soon I was seeing all kinds of benefits.

I often have cleared my counter... deep cleaned under the bread machine, the blender and any other appliances that I MUST HAVE on the counter since I use them so often (which really translates to 'should use them often' - and even when I do - how hard is it to walk to the cupboard and grab it?) But I never really cleared it - removed the clutter that was in my face every single day - without my even noticing it with more than a thought to get rid of it 'someday'.

Getting clear - and free from clutter - is starting to seem like a regular event around here. Oh yeah, it IS a regular event around here! The only way it seems to stay ahead of clutter - that seems to take on life of it's own - is to do a regular clearing. So, I discovered a slight method to my madness that I wanted to mention here when I was doing Operation Get Clear in my kitchen.

Litterless lunches are fast becoming a high need in our world. In our society of instant gratification and disposable-ness, it's not always easy to see HOW to create meals that involve little to no garbage. And, although we often associate the connotation of "lunch time" is so closely tied to our children and school, us adults need to eat at noon, too! This is a topic which applies to us all.

Since school lunches are an ongoing thing, even if your kids have been back to school for awhile, you might need some help, so I will be posting an article series over the next week or so with 'brown bag' lunch ideas for the back to school crowd.

Do Kaizen: Start the day with one task that will make gradual positive change - take you up a notch - make something more efficient, eliminate something, put something to work for you. Do this every day first thing. Put aside the time and say KAIZEN! Doing a morning BOOST Housework Circuit could be just the thing - it works for me!
A few really good points about housework.
Do you do your BOOST Housework schedule in the morning, or not at all? Sing along :0)
Everybody needs a good belly laugh now and then!
Kudos to 'getoutofthefridge'for making this video. I'm going to 'make my bed'.
Those were the days! I think :0)
