BYOB – Freedom or Struggle?
Freedom VS Self Discipline
Why do we struggle with it so?
Is the issue working at home or in BYOB – being your own boss?
Or a little bit of both.
Do people working for someone else fair better with their daily grind?
How about income?
Does income affect what you do?
Do people with bosses work in a more disciplined manner because they have a boss or because they get a guaranteed paycheck?
Do those of us who work for ourselves struggle with self discipline because the returns are 'out there' or because we have no one to be accountable to?
I got to thinking about all of these questions after reading a post on Lori Woodward Simon's blog.
She is an artist, working for herself, at home and ponders self discipline and why it is so hard to stay on the straight an narrow. She put's it all into words very well with a post on her blog.
WHAT GIVES?
Ever waited for the day that you would have time to 'really get at it'? The day comes and you do zip? Too tired? No focus? No inspiration. No zip?
What the heck?
I've had this experience and I know some others who have as well.
Or some of us have plenty of time all day long, and day after day we fritter away at the stuff that gets us no where.
WHY?
Because it's easier?
Because we are afraid to get out there, to succeed.
Because it isn't 'proper' to believe in ourselves?
How about you?
There are so many questions.
The answers can be a huge step in getting things done, going to the next level.
Having a bonafide business.
Do you struggle with self discipline?
Why do you think it is an issue for you?
What are your questions?
Answers?
Let's get to the bottom of this and get to work!
