Phyllis Diller said it best when she said that "cleaning your house while your kids are still growing is like shoveling the walk before it stops snowing."
But, as I look around my house and wonder where the matches for these odd socks have disappeared to, while searching frantically for the keys to the car as I'm rushing out the door and finding an unopened envelope with a bill I managed to miss paying this month, I'm sure there HAS to be a better way to keep my home organized! Admitting it is the first step, I've heard, so… what now?

After learning the benefits of decluttering my home and seeing the reasons why I've failed in the past, I was thrilled to see direct ways to tackle my challenges, The best part, for me, was the hands-on ideas and lifestyle changing suggestions for each room of my house. What really impressed me was the fact that it was so in tune with the other ideas presented around here on the Queen of Kaos website! Great minds DO think alike.
So, with a renewed sense of excitement for home organization, I turned on my timer and started with my desk – hoping to see positive, stress-reducing, productivity enhancing results. When the buzzer went, I was more than pleased! I discovered there actually IS a desk under the "stuff" and I have a space to put the things I'm working on. My next area is going to be the kitchen – now that I have some ideas to tackle the mess!
