I was at the mall with my daughter yesterday.

I took the opportunity to do some early Christmas shopping for stocking stuffers and on the lookout for odds and ends.

The one thing that I found myself doing differently than I have ever done was to search in particular for smaller items or things that are consumable.

Having just dropped off yet ANOTHER load at Value Village (yes, the same place that I used to stock up on things!) I was hyper aware of the stuff coming in and going out of my house.

There is no way that I want to be filling things up again, they have a way of doing that on their own, thank you very much.

So, this year we've picked names for the adults, that cuts down on quite a bit of stress and makes it more fun I think, because you can focus much better on the person that you are buying for. We set a $ limit so there is no pressure at all.

I am going to be making soap and maybe some added natural skin care items (you can find out how with my Make It Special Guide), some essential oils as well as a few goodies from Pillows of Lavender (ok, I'm getting the keyboard set for myself :0) My husband and I both picked girls so that makes it a lot easier!

That's as far as I've gotten so far.

I will keep you posted.

If you'd like to chat about how you 'do Christmas', I've started a Christmas thread at the iShine forum.
