Since I have been in the habit of paying bills, checking the bank account and all that fun stuff every friday, things have been going much more smoothly.

By organizing my finances I have saved a lot of money in late fees, loosing things and realizing that I am paying for things that I no longer want or need.

It all adds up. Not to mention the angst of not being able to find things if they are not regularly dealt with and filed away.

TAKE A LOAD OFF

So it is well worth it to take a little time on Friday's to take a load off and just do it.

Another thing that you will find if you owe money.

After awhile since you are focusing on taking care of things every week, you will find yourself much better at paying off your bills, because you will be more focused on saving money to be sure that you have it to make those bills go down!

AND if you've already paid your bills, you won't be tempted to spend any spare cash.

AND when you start seeing those credit cards going down AND you need to look at them regularly, you will be less tempted to spend frivolously.

And if you don't owe anything, it's a great way to keep it that way!
