This idea is so simple and common sense that I should have thought of it myself, but to be honest, I had no idea that coupons existed for many products out there, especially larger companies that you may be purchasing from.

I used an online coupon this morning to purchase some photo editing software. I hadn't intended to until I saw the coupon code spot on the cart. I remembered a tip that I had gotten from the free weekly seminar on internet marketing that Lynn Terry does (if you have an online business, this is a don't miss weekly event!).

Just do a google search for a coupon code + product and you might come up with something. I've used this technique a few times now and most times have gotten a code. You may need to try a few, some that come up may not be current, but you are bound to save some money sooner or later.

So before you hit the purchase button, make sure that you do a search for an online coupon!
