Apple Green Tea – Iced or Warmed
What You Need:
- 3 C boiling water
- 6 green tea bags
- 1/3 C honey
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 3 C apple cider
How to Make It:
- Place the tea bags into the boiling water and allow brewing 20 minutes.
- Remove and discard the tea bags.
- Pour the tea into a large saucepan.
- Stir in the honey and cinnamon until well combined.
- Pour the apple cider into the saucepan and stir well.
- Place the saucepan over low heat.
- Cook 3 minutes stirring continuously until the honey is completely dissolved
- Pour over ice in a large pitcher.
- Chill 30 minutes before serving.
Serves 8
Kids love this drink, especially when served with a slice of apple as a garnish. If it’s cold and you want a warm drink this can be served in cups right from the saucepan.
