When I first opened the "Frugal Living For Moms" book, I was both a little excited AND a little hesitant.

The word frugal often comes with the stigma of "cheap" or images of a life without "extras" & where all the fun things have been removed.

Hoping I could find more practical answers to saving money than to stop drinking coffee, stay indoors and make everything myself, I started reading.

What impressed me first was the fact that this book tackles frugal living as a complete financial concept – not just as saving a few pennies here and there.

It's about learning how to manage your money more effectively and understand where the money can be saved.

Yes, there are the ideas on how to cut spending so you can find more money (good ideas, too!) – but there's more than that.

This book includes detailed, easy-to-follow, step-by-step guidelines for developing a budget that will help you change your mentality and approach to spending.

This step for me has been the major eye opener – making me aware of where my money is slipping away and knowing I can do something about it.

When you get through the financial approach information, you get to the Frugal Tips  – the practical, everyday ideas of things you can do to cut your expenses.

Many of them are new ideas to me, some of them a good reminder of things I've been told and some are so simple I couldn't believe I hadn't thought of them before!

I am really happy that I read this book – it's given me a lot to evaluate in our family finances and made me think of frugal living as an overall lifestyle choice, not just a way to save a few dollars here or there.

So, why would YOU want to spend money on this book?

If you are looking for a long term way to save money, pay down debts, save for something special, or just want to learn to spend your money wisely – this book is for you.

The money you spend now is an investment in to the money you will save later! Trust me. You WANT to read this book!
