functional homeI was on my way downstairs a minute a go and stopped, turned around and went back up to look at my toaster.

My girls are home today and I had to stop myself from asking them, ‘did you notice the toaster?’.

Then it occurred to me that it might be fun for them to notice various 5 minute fixes around here without me telling them what I did – your kids and significant others may enjoy that too.

But I want to know…

Am I the only one that gets excited about having a shiny clean toaster?

Am I the only one that didn’t notice that it was dirty!

If you wouldn’t mind taking a minute just to quickly let me know if I am losing my marbles or if it’s the same for you I would appreciate it :0)

Hoping to hear from someone out there in toaster land.

  1. Now that it is clean and shiny, I just swipe the crumbs away easily. It’s one of my maintain it spots in the construct a salad etc station! Yippe, and thanks to you it can be done.

    1. I love that! A construct a salad station – I need one of those for sure. Have you got any quick tips about what you have in yours Judy?

  2. When I am in the kitchen cleaning, my family know I’m busy. When I’m done, I leave the kitchen looking perfect with all countertop appliances looking shiny. They DO comment, and I don’t have to ask them as they know I have been busy in there with my music on.
A clean kitchen challenges them to keep it that way, and every little helps!
