We are going to get the easter eggs today for our Easter Egg hunt. I am going to get a few extras for cookies.
Just use your favourite cookie recipe, it can be any kind almost, and put either some easter egg pieces, just crunch them up, or some pieces of left over easter bunny, what ever you have works.
It’s a great way to use too much candy too. Just throw it in the freezer (well, hide it in the freezer) and use it when you make cookies.
At our house with so many relatives too much candy was always a problem. Now the kids are older it isn’t such an issue, I can’t believe I’m actually contemplating buying extra for cookies.

My husband came home on Friday and we where all sitting around watching a movie.
He got the munchies and said that there would be something “mysterious” ready in 15 minutes.
15 minutes later he comes down with home made oatmeal/chocolate cookies for us all - it was one big cookie cut into 4.
I’m eating my cookie marvelling at his obvious talent to whip up a batch of REALLY GOOD oatmeal/chocolate chip cookies in about 10 minutes minus cooking time. And thinking, if he can do it, why can’t I do that?
It was so good, and I was so amazed, I had to ask.
What recipe did you use? I was just waiting for him to say that he made it up in his head, he’s like that. (the results vary!)
