Theme for this week - pick a room or floor

I find that if I can choose a room or floor to concentrate on each week, it really helps to keep me focused and motivated when I have a spare minute to do a thing or two, or gives me a place to focus concentrated effort on for larger chunks of time.

Guess what.

Focused, consistant chunks of time = progress and completion.

And that = happy mom and family!

So, especially being Easter weekend, in some ways it will be busier, but some of you may have a little extra time, is there a room, area or floor of your house that you would like to “make a project” this week.

I am doing my basement, our livingroom and storage space is there, I want to clear it so that I can try to get some painting done over the next 2 weeks (we are having a big tv given to us so I want to take the opportunity to spruce it up - grab your motivation where ever you can get it!)

ACTION TIP

Pick a spot, big or small. Write it down on your dry erase board, home journal or what ever you are using to stay organized.

Peck away over the next week and see what you can accomplish.

Have fun and keep the end in mind.

Happy Easter! (make it a point this weekend to bring some colour to your world - flowers, markers, highlighters, colour some eggs with the kids!)

Here is a website with a ton of Easter and other stuff, don’t spend too much time cleaning, show your kids, pick an activity and have some fun, they are only young once (my kids are 16, 14 and 9, I really am missing “the herd” that we used to have here on easter doing the hunt - my neices and nephews who are teens now used to come, wish I had pictures.
