The Importance of Consistancy

I think that if there is one thing that I could point to as the main component of success, it would be to find your focus and do it consistantly. I guess that’s two!

It doesn’t mean that you need to focus on the same thing all day long, you can have various focus points in various areas, but you need to make sure that there aren’t too many, or you won’t be able to devote a consistant time period to them, often enough to see results.

For instance, I have my daily housecleaning circuit that I use to create focus and consistancy in my house, it is the only thing that works for me to keep it presentable.

I have just started using the same concept on my business (finally!) It has enabled me to keep my inbox under control and to stay current on all 3 of my blogs.

I am starting today with my Sizzlin’ program, and will be working the same concept - focused tasks or habits that I need to do on a regular basis.

The best ones seem to be the basics, in this case exercise, water, diet (watching that I am eating good things and not eating the other ones out of habit or laziness). That kind of thing.

ACTION TIP

What can you be putting on “auto pilot” in your daily routine.

Think of a few things, write them down, allow and time yourself for 5 or 10 minutes for each task over the next week preferably during the same time period each day, do this once a day and see what happens.

I think you’ll like it :0)

  1. It’s so true. The days I “auto-pilot” dishes as soon as I wake up (since I never have the energy after supper!) my days feel more successful and directed. Getting things done effectively is such a wonderful thing!
