Saturday is D Day (D-Clutter!) reminder

This Saturday, we are out and about too much for me to take time to enjoy a decluttering session, so I am going to do it tomorrow.

What will I do? My supplies closet is finished, I am going to pick up a few things on Wed for storage that I promised myself to fancy it up a bit,  I’ll be posting pictures of the whole process this week when it is ready. I’m very pleased that I was able to take a humdrum job and really make it more fun by going a step further into decorating and sorting.

I was so impressed that  I wrote an article called “A Home for Everything“, on my time management for mom’s site - www.a-matter-of-time.com . You can sign up for my weekly time management newsletter there as well.  I am redesigning the site, so you will probably find a few things that aren’t matching up, but I am really liking the new design.

So, what am I decluttering this week?  I think I will tackle our basement bathroom. It is often used and getting a little out of control with stuff that shouldn’t be there. Being in the basement with the utility sink, it’s a lot easier to dump things there. Although I’m still not sure who left the toilet plunger in the shower, that is really pushing the envelope!

I am already looking forward to seeing the difference when I  am finished, like you, when I look at stuff that shouldn’t be there, it causes me stress. Come tomorrow, I will be about 10lbs lighter!

Remember, if you’d like to keep up 5 minutes per day through the week, you can sign up for our Take 5, Bootcamp for Dustbunnies, it only takes 5 minutes!

Join now and you will be almost on the same page as the rest of the group - it works in 31 day cycles, reset at the beginning of each month.

What are you going to D-clutter this week?
