Benchmarking - reviewing and making note of the things that you HAVE done can be an excellent way to give yourself inspiration and to pick up in plenty of time, the areas where you may be lagging behind. It's a good thing for everyone to do on a regular basis.

This poem by Nick Cernis, who wrote the Todoodlist, sums up perfectly the way that I have been feeling the past few years - finding that less is more and that it is easy these days to find that you have sped right by the best things in life in trying to do more.
