Work at Home Productivity Tips -

It’s funny how small things can make a big difference. I was out shopping the other day with my daughters and we came upon a back to school display (already, didn’t summer holidays just start?)

Anyway, I spied a nice pink and white binder and it occured to me that I would really enjoy using it to print out my Queen of KAOS
@home ebook, it is finally in it’s final editing stage!

I’ve been working on it for a long time using a completely functional but orange binder. But this one even matches somewhat the colour of my site and is just brighter and more fun. And I had to pick up a pack of new pens too, they have purple in “my brand” now (they write really well and are cheap. Since I can’t keep a pen within 10 feet of me unless it is glued to my forhead, I go through a lot of them!)

Anyway, the point is that there may be a small thing that you can use to bring new life to an old task.

Remember, the more fun it is, the more you’ll enjoy it, and the more you will work on it.

If you have small kids, think about buying one for them too, it might keep them busy working on theirs while you work on yours! I’m wishing that I had bought one for my 14 year old daughter, she’s already hinting strongly about how much she likes mine.

What small thing can you give new life to in your business?

Maybe something as simple as a new binder and set of pens will make it fresh for you.

It can be as simple as a few new office supplies, it can be something like cleaning off your desk or dusting/wiping your computer. Cleaning your email or adding a bit of colour to something.
Personally, I always enjoy an excuse to buy a new binder and pens, highlighters or markers, so it doesn’t take much :0) Colour brightens my day so I take it anyway I can get it!

Just remember, make it fun!
