Work at Home Productivity Tips –

I do a huge paper purge every year over the Christmas/New Year holidays. It seems a natural way to usher in a brand spanking new year.

The picture to the left is the booty from my last paper purge, my daughter was nice enough to spend some (a lot!) of time shredding for me. It's a great excuse to sit around and watch a few movies if you have to do it yourself. 

Generally, I wouldn't shred so much, but I also use it as packing material, much of it could be recycled as well.

IT'S BACK 

But I find myself lately, looking at far too many paper piles again, starting to feel scattered and not really liking to be in my office.

It conjures up pictures of shredded paper reforming and depositing itself back into piles around my office. How else did it get there? 

So for me, any spare time I can manage this week, I will be focusing on getting rid of paper piles.

I have invoices and receipts that need to be filed, draft articles that I don't need to keep, project files that are out of date and print outs that I will never use.

It's time for them to go! 

AND, as the incentive to top all incentive, I am anxiously awaiting arrival of my new baby. Nope, not that kind of baby. I'm waiting for my copy of Traffic Secrets 2.0, which should be here early next week, maybe (crossing fingers) sooner.

I don't want to be mired down in paper clutter while I'm trying to enjoy it, and especially don't want to have to spend time clearing when I could be playing!

It doesn't have to be hard. In fact, you can do it outside, just take it with you. Or on your favourite relaxing area.

The only rule is don't bring more than you can do. You don't want to end up with a bunch of paper cluttering up your peaceful place!
