Weekly Value – Customer Appreciation and Commitment
I came across this concept awhile back and decided that it could be a wonderful business building tool – and a great tool to keep me on track as to how I want my business to be run.
Basically, each week you choose a value that you would like to focus on. You can do this for your home or personal life as well.
I wrote mine on a card that sits in a holder on my desk.
The value that I am going to focus on this week is Customer Appreciation and Commitment.
This week I will be fixing things that need to be fixed – autoresponders that need to be updated for customer notifications, customer programs that I would like to put in place – it might take more than two weeks! But that’s ok.
My customers are the back bone of my business, I truly appreciate them, so they are a great place to start!
ACTION TIP
What value would you like to focus on this week? I will be posting mine every Monday, you can follow along with me, or choose one of your own.
We’d love to hear yours, go ahead and post it in the comments section, maybe we can get some ideas going.
Be sure to put it somewhere that you will see it often and actively brainstorm – and do – tasks that will bring you closer to your value.
Another point of interest, maybe you need to stop doing something – take something away instead of add a task – maybe you need to stop spending so much time reading email ads and newsletters – I deleted a lot of subscriptions over the weekend that I hadn’t been using, my email was much quicker to read this morning.
Maybe you need to stop scattering papers and use a file system or notebook, stop leaving windows open on your computer that you are not using.
I do all of these things, so it was easy to think of them :0)
Take a giant step up.
Choose one value and work on it this week.
