Work at Home Productivity Tips -

I had to do some ordering for Skincare Naturals (my home business) this week. It was a rather long process as I had to choose bottles and had decided to work on my brand and get something more uniform and functional than I had been using. (BUSINESS TIP - What ever you are doing, don't go with the norm, find something to set you apart from the rest, it could be something very simple.) I spent the first day browsing on a slow internet computer while packing orders. Needless to say, I didn't get the order placed. Not only that, the next day I had to do my comparison shopping again because I had scratched pricing and availability onto some scrap paper, useless to me to use later. The next day, I focused on what I was doing, opened up an excel spreadsheet - I already have some for essential and carrier oils etc that I purchase for my website - and recorded pricing and bottle selection for the 2 websites that I had selected to by from. It took me about an hour - not really any longer than it would have to have re-scratched the pricing on another scrap piece of paper - and it was so easy to compare the two sites and decide on the bottling options open to me. Although I already had dabbled with spreadsheets, Jeannette Cates really opened my eyes as to the sheer power and simplicity of using them to keep any information at your fingertips in her Organize Your Internet Business course.
