Did You Sleep in This Morning?

November 5th, 2007 · No Comments

If you are a morning person, you will probably find this tip useful. If you are not, just go back to bed :0)

Every time the clock changes, I try to think how I can beat the system to take advantage.

My family thinks I’m nuts.

Don’t Sleep In!But at this time of year, I leave my alarm clock where it is and try to keep my sleep schedule as close as possible to the one I was on before the time change.

This buys me one whole hour in the morning before everyone wakes up. For me this is gold because it is the most productive time of the day, the time where I feel no guilt for sitting in front of the computer and not getting up for anything.

If you value your time in the morning before the world moves, and if you can maintain a decent bedtime so that you can continue to do it, just leave your alarm clock alone and see what you can do.

Why not make it a challenge? Try it and track what you are able to accomplish in that extra hour of morning.

Let us know, we’d love to hear about it.

For me, what did I accomplish this morning?

Not much because my email is down and my internet wouldn’t work. But I did manage to hobble out 2 blog posts about a movie I really liked over the weekend, bared my soul on a popular work at home blog that I really like too and made another post on the same subject on this blog and I cleared out some open windows on my computer and set up a few orders for the day.

All before 8:20, not too bad.

It will be a lot better when I get my new computer that works!
