This morning while doing my BOOST cleaning circuit, I was once again struck at how taking time… slowing down… actually allows me to accomplish more.
Kind of like the saying "The hurrier I go, the behinder I get".
It's true!
If I take 5 minutes to clear my desk each day, I have a calmer, more focused work day.
If I take 45 minutes to do my BOOST cleaning circuit each morning, I have a calmer, more focused work day.
If I take
30 minutes to an hour each day to exercise and get out for a walk, the very foundation of "me" becomes stronger, I have a calmer, more focused and productive work day.
Get the hint?
Skimping and rushing to do what you think is important while ignoring the basics is asking for trouble (ask me how I know!)
Remember to think about this next time you are tempted to "save time" by taking a short cut on the basics.
Your action tip for today is to slow down a little and identify where you may be skimping on the very activities that will set you up for success.
If you would really like to kick slowing down into gear and get somewhere, check out
