Out with the old can be just too hard sometimes…

I've been cleaning up my computer to get it running faster and easier to find things this month. While deleting programs and software that is no longer used from my C drive, I have wavered over the delete key more than once to delete a few of my daughter's games that she played when she was little. And I can't do it. Reader Rabbit and Madeline are just going to have to stay a bit longer, somehow it just doesn't seem right. I'm sure someday, when she gets married and has her own children we will need it anyway :0)) Somehow, deleting those programs from my computer is like deleting the memory that seeing them brings to me, the quick, fleeting moment when I remember what it was like. Those days that I would get frustrated because I was constantly interupted. Those days when she had her own desk in my office, and paperwork - old forms of mine that she would fill out and "assign" to me to complete. Those days when she was barely taller than my desk, maybe she wasn't even. Those days when she used to play Reader Rabbit and Madeline. I miss those days. If those are still your days, enjoy them now. You'll be wavering on the delete key someday too. Reader Rabbit has a lot of excellent educational games out for kids, if you are looking for something to keep your children occupied and learning at the same time. Madeline was another favourite.
