Many people don’t really know what medical transcription is or have many questions about the profession. They are medical professionals who convert voice-recorded reports as dictated by physicians and/or other healthcare professionals into text format. It’s a great field. What does the future hold for this profession? That depends on advancements in technology, practice workflow and various state and federal regulations.

my mom does medical transcription i will tell you it can be good money but it does require some time and devotion its not just something where you do nothing and get paid it can be time consuming but the rewards are good

Jan , this market is wide open as Doctors and the medical industry seeks to reduce cost at every turn. The pay is good and entry into this field is not difficult
