I find that the very biggest reason to weigh in once per week only is that it really ups my motivation to do better, so that the number on that scale will be better when I do weigh in. It's a mind game. Sometimes there are disappointments for the reasons I listed above. But I have always found that a few days before weigh in I will give 110%.
If there is one major obstacle to weight loss and being healthy, it's procrastination. We all know that, but prefer to think about it later. As Holly points out, we will never HAVE time, we must MAKE time.
