Many times we do well with sticking to healthy changes in our eating habits only to find ourselves slipping back. It starts slowly until one day you wake up and find that you are back to your old ways. It's happened to me too. I find that the very biggest reason to weigh in once per week only is that it really ups my motivation to do better, so that the number on that scale will be better when I do weigh in. It's a mind game. Sometimes there are disappointments for the reasons I listed above. But I have always found that a few days before weigh in I will give 110%.

I'm going on a road trip for the day today. Before I left, I was sure to get my intervals in - it only took 12 minutes - what the heck! I can't tell you how good it feels. It feels great to have my blood pumping and feeling refreshed from the movement. But it feels even better to know that I am back on track and finished with the schlump period. You can do it too!
