    Here we go, I'm officially on Day 1 of the challenge, just looking around Club Fit Yummy Mummy right now, it looks even better than I thought it would. I will have more about that tomorrow after I've had a better look.

    For today, I wanted to post my before picture and my stats. Try not to laugh too hard, I look like I've been swailing too much beer at the local pub or driving a truck all my life – I swear I quit life on the road after the birth of my first child Laughing. I will post here regularly, minimum once weekly but probably more with updates and tips on what is working for me.

    The newspaper is not the current price that I'm going for!

    It's to put on record what day the photo was taken although it isn't clear. But it was taken by my daughter this morning before she went to school – hence bed head, droopy face (ok, it's been more like that on a regular basis the past few years. Standing on my head doesn't seem to be helping Annoyed) Usually I look much more glamorous working in my bathrobe at home.

    So here are my stats. I will post them regularly on Tuesdays, that day works for me. I will have more on the reason why later.

    WED FEB 06.08

    • Height approx 5.2 – I have scoliosis which has shortened my height and extra padding allowance.  
    • Weight 134 lbs
    • Waist 78 cm
    • Belly Bulge (more kindly called midrift) 93 cm
    • Hips 94 cm (looking at both, it basically means that I basically have a butt sticking out the front and back!)
    • Thighs 53.5 cm

    (those are the ones I'm concerned with, when you do yours, you can do what ever you like. I used cm, but you can use inches.  BTW, if you are joining Fit Yummy Mummy you don't need to post your picture to a public blog like I am doing, I am a glutton for torture, as well as tortilla chips with cheese and salsa)

    It is definitely the time of year to be getting back on board with a Fit Yummy Mummy 12 Week Challenge – I am counting down the days to being 10lbs lighter and 12 weeks stronger!

    Holly gives us assignments throughout the challenge, today it is to examine perfection and the effect that it has on our results – and how it can more likely than not cause more trouble than it saves. I am looking at that today.
