    Easter Bunny Blues

    queenofkaossizzlinsand110.jpgEaster can be a challenge for us chocoholics, I’m sure about 5lbs of the extra that I am carrying around is all easter bunny of Easter’s past.

    This year I don’t feel the desire to pig out on chocolate or candy. Not that I won’t have “some”, but it won’t be a week long treat fest as it has been known to be around here.

    One reason is that I far prefer the feeling I get from “not” going overboard to the instant and far to fleeting satisfaction of eating what I know I shouldn’t be (and that means too much, a little isn’t going to hurt)

    The other reason is that I have a plan for what to do with the extras. You can read about how you can use up some of the extra easter eggs and bunnies at my post from the @home blog

    Hint: It involves cookies. The good news is that you can make your own cookies to be a healthy snack, so go ahead and look :0)

    BTW, if you do go overboard, be sure to drink some extra water and go for an extra walk or two, it will help!

    Then get back to your healthy habits. DON’T eat more just because you already ate too much, it isn’t logical :0)

    It is definitely the time of year to be getting back on board with a Fit Yummy Mummy 12 Week Challenge – I am counting down the days to being 10lbs lighter and 12 weeks stronger!

    Holly gives us assignments throughout the challenge, today it is to examine perfection and the effect that it has on our results – and how it can more likely than not cause more trouble than it saves. I am looking at that today.
