WHICH IS BETTER, YOGA OR PILATES?
Both Yoga and Pilates are highly beneficial but give different results.
Yoga is wonderful for stretching and keeping you limber, and for de-stressing as well. It also creates strength in all areas.
Pilates strengthen your core area - your abs and back in a highly focused and effective way.
I love them both. I have scoliosis and find that yoga really helps my back and posture.
The pilates do as well because they also strengthen back muscles and give more support through ab strengthening.
