     Fitness and Weight Loss Challenge for Moms

    This week my report is going to be a little different.

    I shuffled along as usual, but it was not one of my best weeks emotionally, had a few things going on that knocked me off of my game, and was sick for 2 days to boot (coincidence? probably not).

    UPSET AND DISCORD CAN BRING YOU DOWN FLAT 

    I mention this to illustrate how our emotions and the things going on around us can effect our results.

    If it happens too often, guess what happens?

    It's back to the fridge and off of our work out program.

    I am no where close to that event, back on track as I type, but it is something to be aware of.

    If there is something going on in your life that is sabotaging your energy and your mindset, you need to be aware of it, and tackle that. 

    If you can't change the situation directly, you need to work on how you deal with it emotionally.

    How to do that?

    There are a lot of ways, I find that listening to good audio always inspires me and can turn things around for me in an instant.

    DISTANCE YOURSELF AND REMEMBER WHAT IS REAL – YOU ARE

    Right now I have been following Oprah and Eckhart Tolle  – A New Earth weekly webcasts and bought the book.

    There is a goldmine of wisdom here, I highly recommend it.

    Another point, don't let temporary set backs or stalls throw you off completely.

    You can ALWAYS jump back on. Never give up. That is when you are beat, and not before.

    My stats are surprisingly good this week, all things considered. 

    And that is the strength of developing habits.

    Although I didn't feel that I did my best this week, I missed some exercises, didn't eat properly or drink enough water when I was sick, I still managed continue in an upward path without even thinking that I was!

    MY STATS WEEK 9 – Here are the main numbers that I am looking at…

    * Weight 128.5 lbs (same, was at 128 a few days ago so it is hovering :0)

    * Waist 71cm (down 1 – I have lost a whopping 7cm, almost 3 inches from my waist since week one, totally amazing)

    * Belly Bulge 83.5 cm (going slowly but surely – a total of almost 10cm/4 inches, freak me out!)

    MY STATS WEEK 8 – Here are the main numbers that I am looking at…

    * Weight 128.5 lbs (down 1 lb, watching 130, the stubborn number, become a mere memory!)

    * Waist 72cm (down 1 – hoping that I have finally hit the point where the belly fat is going to go)

    * Belly Bulge 84.5 cm (going slowly but surely)

    IN THE HOME STRETCH 

     I am coming up to the last weeks of the 12 week challenge.

    At that time it will not be over for me, I will be continuing to build my strength and banish my flab and focus on great nutrition.

    The Fit Yummy Mummy program comes with a full 16 weeks of exercises plus bonus weeks so I will have a steady course to follow, and as always, there is the support of the other Fit Yummy Mummy's.

    We even get to contribute to an ebook that Holly is putting out about our progress and results. It will be extremely inspiring and is already motivating ME to do better. 

    So I am planning more focus on my own self discipline to really give it my best for the coming weeks.

    I "graduated" to the Advanced resistant workout this week, the first one was hard, I expect this week will be adjustment and amazement as I watch myself hit the exercises with increasing ease and weights, as my first week with the Intermediate exercises was.

    I updated my pictures a few weeks ago, I am going to see if I can grab my daughter to take new ones now, and again in a few weeks.

    Coming up! 

    The best part is that it is NEVER too late to start. Spring is here, summer is coming.

    If you want to feel great, get going on it now. Every step up that you take will make you feel that much better for a fantastic summer

    of sun and fresh air.

    It is definitely the time of year to be getting back on board with a Fit Yummy Mummy 12 Week Challenge – I am counting down the days to being 10lbs lighter and 12 weeks stronger!

    Holly gives us assignments throughout the challenge, today it is to examine perfection and the effect that it has on our results – and how it can more likely than not cause more trouble than it saves. I am looking at that today.
